Mammut 7.5 Alpine Sender Dry Rope is a climbing half rope which, thanks to its waterproofing treatment, can be used both for multi-pitch climbing and for mountaineering and also for ice climbing.
Very thin, it is perfect for those looking for a performing rope: light, it helps to decrease the weight you carry on your shoulder, which is always a lot!
The sock is particularly smooth thanks to the use of the highest quality yarns: this reduces its final weight and, thanks to the denser weave, prevents dust from penetrating inside, prolonging the life of the rope.
It is also equipped with a Dry treatment which, in addition to guaranteeing waterproofing to the sock and the core of the rope, also helps to prevent dirt from entering.
Since 2020 Mammut has managed to obtain incredible results on all ropes with this waterproof treatment. If before this in fact led to a slight stiffening of the sock, now you will notice how all the ropes with Dry treatment are even softer than the classic ropes!
